Park Rules

  • Keep your site clean.

  • Place all waste in designated trash bins.

  • Keep fires within designated areas.

  • No tent camping allowed. (Contact us for available, alternative options)

       Rooftop tents OK

  • Do not leave food outside unattended (so as not to attract bears or other animals).

  • Notify campground management of any bear activity in or around the campground.

  • Keep pets on a leash, use the designated pet area for their business, and immediately clean up after your pet!

  • The speed limit is 5 mph throughout the park.

  • No profanity is allowed in the park.

  • No loud noises, voices, or music is allowed.

  • No alcoholic beverages or intoxication on campground property.

  • We do not allow the use of marijuana, illegal drugs, or narcotics in the park.

  • Smoking is prohibited in or within 15 ft. of public buildings or other campers.

  • Guests with children are responsible for the safety and whereabouts of their children.

  • Please be considerate of other campers.

  • Be careful to occupy only your selected or assigned site.

  • Observe quiet hours between 9:00 pm and 8:00 am.

  • Check out time is 11:30 am

Hello there! Are you ready for an amazing camping experience in Hyder, Alaska? Look no further than our fantastic Campground!

There is a lot to do in our area from Hiking, to sightseeing, bear viewing, boating, fishing, birdwatching, etc. We have a little of everything in our little corner of Alaska!

You'll be blown away by the views of Salmon Glacier and Portland Canal, and make sure to check out the grizzly bears catching Salmon at the Fish Creek Wildlife observation area while you're here! If you hit it just right, you may even see some wolves coming out to get their fill of fish.
